Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) is the highest peak in Wales (and England) and more often than not it is covered in a blanket of thick cloud. On this occasion I was lucky enough to arrive at the summit of Crib Goch just as the cloud lifted and revealed the peak clearly. I must admit that I prefer painting these mountain landscapes in slightly unusual and ethereal conditions such as this.
