Deep inside Coed y Brenin forest, close to the remains of Gwyn Fynydd gold mine is this spectacular waterfall. Thomas Girtin painted a wonderful unfinished watercolour sketch of the falls in 1798.
It is a pleasant 1.2 km walk to the falls.
