White Horses cottage lies isolated from the rest of Portmeirion on a what can only be described as a pretty little promenade. It's neighbour is the Watch Tower which used to house a camera obscura proudly guarded by a statue of Horatio Nelson. Beyond the cottage a footpath leads along the shore before climbing up into the woodland which borders Portmeirion to the west.
