Eglwys Cynhaern is located at the end of a minor road leading from the village of Pentrefelin. In the graveyard some notable characters from the area have been laid to rest including David Owen, composer of the air 'Dafydd y Garreg Wen', which he reputedly penned on his death bed at the age of 29.
