Oil on Canvas.
Probably not the most recognisable view in Eryri (Snowdonia) but sometimes I will paint a picture for totally selfish reasons. This was such a painting. Despite the rather uncomfortable conditions, it was really cold with a biting northerly wind, I was content, enjoying myself even. I was making my way up a long tedious slope but for some reason I felt wonderful. In this state of mind everything looks and feels enhanced somehow, I think it has a lot to do with the fact that here I was, on my own on the mountain in quite difficult conditions, but I was in control. These sort of conditions are without doubt the best time to capture the mountains in their true state. We are able to ship this original. See our Original Buying Guide for more information
