People on Ynys Mon (Anglesey) will hate me saying this but one of then wonderful experiences of the island is the magnificent view towards the mountains of Eryri (Snowdonia) In this painting the light over Afon Menai (Menai Strait) was really dramatic and because the tide was out that light was creating fabulous contrast between sea and sand.
